GOURISH CHAKRAVORTY is the Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director of Ion Exchange Safic, a Total Water Management Company. A Joint venture between Ion Exchange India and Accentuate Group, both listed in respective countries in stock exchange. Mr. Chakravorty holds Honors & Master’s degree in Chemistry specializing in Physical Chemistry from Delhi University. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of water treatment & wastewater treatment. Mr. Chakravorty is also a Professional Natural Scientist (South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions). Mr. Chakravorty is a member of the Advisory Board at the University of Pretoria, for the Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment, and IT (EBIT) and Chemical Engineering. He has been Speaker/ Panelist in various national / international forums. Mr. Chakravorty is a member of Institute of Directors in Southern Africa (IoDSA), WISA, CorrISA, besides active in various Socio - voluntary organizations, engaged in social upliftment projects in South Africa. Currently Board Member in CII- IBF, Past President in India Club, South Africa, Bengali Association of South Africa. He has participated in various International Conferences, presented papers in the related field in Alternative Sources of water & Water Reuse. Mr. Chakravorty joined Ion Exchange (India) Ltd, in December 1990. He has been involved various facades of Total Water Management. He has held various key positions in International Business, has global experience & relationships with several engineering, EPC companies and Consultants in Asia, Europe and Africa. He has been connected to African water treatment environment since 2005, instrumental in setting up operation in Central, East & West Africa beside various countries in Asia and Europe.

We also offer technical services such as project management at site, design, erection and commissioning, operation and maintenance of plant and supply of spares. Our design team provides designs of the plant with optimum capital and operating costs. The contract execution team, working with latest techniques, provides timely completion of projects. Our customer services division undertakes modification and rehabilitation of existing plants through process modification to augment capacity and improve treated water quality largely making the equipment more cost effective by use of the latest treatment techniques.
