Affectionately known as ‘Mo’, Mosele boasts a total of 15 years as a Marketing and Eventing Projects Director of large conglomerates, a role which has established her as an astute businesswoman with impeccable negotiation and leadership skills. Mosele has a diverse background in marketing, communications and event management. With over 15 years of experience working for in-house marketing and event management departments in various organisations, her strong understanding of the strategic role of events in Marketing Communications makes her a great addition to any team. She has worked for large corporations as a Sponsorships and Events Manager where she was responsible for developing and implementing a variety of marketing and communications initiatives. She has experience delivering corporate strategic as well as managing, economic empowerment programmes programme for youth and women entrepreneurs. She’s currently the chairperson of Women in Grains, and she’s part of the advisory board for Youth in Agriculture. These roles have come with various travelling opportunities, which opened up her frame of reference when it comes to culture, globalization and incorporating the international market in every detail of project management. As an entrepreneur, Mosele is always looking for business opportunities which landed her in pig farming. Mosele started her pig farm in Viljoenskroon, Free State with just 20 pigs with very little farming experience. However, they have grown tremendously since 2015, when they started their own operation, with Lepheane as CEO. Today they collectively run a successful piggery with 50 pigs, supplying different abattoirs and meat distributors in the province. Mosele is currently working with other commercial farmers learning the operation of fresh produce farming. Since acquiring as 10year farm lease, Mosele has diversified her business into crop production. With the intension to farm crops hydroponically, Mosele has acquired a certificate in Hydroponics farming where she acquired extensive knowledge of on hydroponics. She is currently producing spinach in her farm and supplying local markets. She has also acquired a certificate for Women in Agriculture Entrepreneur Development Programme through Gibs sponsored by the French Embassy in South Africa.
